Fellowship with Community
What good is a light under a table in the midst of darkness. Light has no power until it encounters darkness, which it devours. Bringing the light to the community simply implies we have the heart of Christ. We see the community with the same eyes as the Father. We see the needs and hurts. Instead of ignoring the pain, we apply the pain medicine (i.e., the word of God) directly to the source. All Dovelight Ministry community partnerships are aimed to assist the hurting body of Christ, the least and lost (e.g., foster children and the impoverished). Dovelight Ministry brings life skills to foster children, positive role models to at-risk teens and maximizes the impact to the community through partnerships. There is power in the oneness of the body of Christ. Your donations allow us to fund Project Little Lights:
- Being filled with light, our aim is to bring that light to children forced into foster care due to dark situations. Dovelight Ministry provides regular donations (e.g., toiletries, backpacks, and Easterbags, all with encouraging messages) to children living within group and foster homes.
- Dovelight Ministry sponsors and partners with spirit-filled mentors to provide life skills andfirsthand knowledge of the redemptive power of the “Good, Good Father” for foster children living within the Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) group homes.
- Dovelight Ministry donations provide children bibles and age appropriate spiritual material to children.
- Dovelight Ministry donations provide Birthday gifts and encouraging messages to foster children temporarily removed from their parents and/or permanently living within group homes. Our singular goal is to never let the little lights dim and provide a constant reminder of the Father’s love.
